The Save South Frontenac Committee invites South Frontenac residents to attend our Town Hall on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2026, from 5 - 6 pm at Storrington Centre, 3910 Battersea Road, Sunbury, to hear committee members discuss our summary report, which follows Alto's 3-month consultation period. Doors open to the public at 4:30 pm.
In a panel-style format, Gord Boulton and Katie Koopman, SSF Co-Leads, will speak to the different components of the committee's summary report.
This report has been prepared to document the Save South Frontenac committee’s 3-month review of the available information on the Alto High-Speed Rail proposal, to highlight significant areas of concern raised by residents and stakeholders, including route selection, land use, environmental protection, property rights and the long-term socio-economic implications for rural communities such as South Frontenac.
